The Fortuna River waterfall is located in a biological reserve with an area of 210 acres of transitioning tropical wet forest. This 70-meter waterfall is in part of the Arenal Volcano National Park and is based on rocky foundations of great geological value which has produced unparalelled lush and scenic beauty. Once at the base of the waterfall, visitors can take a refreshing swim in the pristine Fortuna River.
